Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes how Reconify may be used and the activity we prohibit on the website, cloud platform, API, and related services.

Effective June 20, 2026 · Last updated June 20, 2026

1. Lawful use of Reconify

Reconify provides financial integrity monitoring and reconciliation software. You may use Reconify only for lawful business purposes and only with data you are authorized to process.

2. Prohibited financial activity

You may not use Reconify to support, conceal, or facilitate illegal financial activity. Prohibited uses include:

  • Fraud, theft, sanctions evasion, or deceptive activity.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or attempts to hide the origin, ownership, or destination of funds.
  • Violations of financial regulations that apply to your business, jurisdiction, industry, or customers.
  • Reconciliation workflows designed to falsify books, audit evidence, tax records, or customer reporting.

3. Data you upload or process

You are responsible for the data you upload, import, or process through Reconify. You may not submit data if you lack the required authorization, contractual rights, or legal basis to process it.

Do not upload credentials, authentication tokens, raw payment card numbers, government identity numbers, or other restricted data unless your agreement with Reconify explicitly allows that processing.

4. Platform abuse and security interference

You may not interfere with Reconify systems, customers, or infrastructure. Prohibited activity includes:

  • Introducing malware, exploits, destructive payloads, or code designed to disrupt service.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, workspaces, APIs, data, or infrastructure.
  • Bypassing rate limits, access controls, authentication, tenant isolation, logging, or security monitoring.
  • Running load tests, vulnerability scans, or intrusive testing without prior authorization from Reconify.

5. Automation, scraping, and plan limits

You may use documented APIs and normal product automation for your own monitoring and reconciliation workflows. You may not scrape the website or platform beyond normal API usage, resell access without written authorization, or create multiple accounts to evade usage limits, pricing, rate limits, or eligibility rules.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate activity that appears to violate this policy. We may suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, notify affected customers, or report activity to authorities when required by law or necessary to protect Reconify, our customers, or the public.
